For the preparation of this tea, you need the following:

  • Banana peels (from organically grown bananas)
  • Water


First, let’s prepare the peels.

Collect banana peels for several days, as you eat them. Store the peels into the freezer. When you have enough to fill a small cooking pan, remove them from the freezer and allow them to defrost. The banana peels should turn black.

Next, turn on the oven at the pasteurization program and put in the banana peels. Oven-bake them until dry, for approximately 1 hour.

Put the dry banana peels into a food processor and pulse until you crush them into small pieces.  Transfer into an airtight container, and store it in a dark and cool place.

To prepare your good night tea, pour 1 cup of boiling water over 1 large tablespoon of the crushed banana peels. Steep for a few minutes, and then strain the tea. Enjoy the tea and dream sweet dreams, like a baby!
