We, as a community focused on smart and healthy living, always look for a way to convert apparently unhealthy foods into healthier versions, to boost health and burn fat. Some of our past popular recipes included a healthy chocolate cake with avocado, then buttermilk bread, prune-coconut bombs, banana-coconut cubes, oatmeal blueberry muffins, sauerkraut pancakes, gluten- and flour-free pizza, beetroot hummus, broccoli soup, and so on. Our list of healthy recipes is quite huge.
Today, we have decided to share our recipe for this amazingly healthy, fat-burning chocolate avocado pudding. And as we already mentioned at the beginning of this article, it’s high in fiber, healthy fats, and proteins, and it’s low in sugar – it has no added sugars or artificial sweeteners!
It’s not like we invented this recipe on our own. The idea has already been there on the Internet. We just took a few recipes and combined them, as we do not like some of the ingredients used in the original recipes. They either contained too much sugar or weren’t gluten-free. We replaced a few ingredients and doubled the amount of avocados, to add more proteins in the pudding, and made this super delicious recipe!
Fat Burning Chocolate Avocado Pudding
This recipe is for about 2-3 servings and is great as a healthy dessert, or a snack in the evening.
For the preparation, you’ll need the following ingredients:
- 2 large ripe avocados – soft to the touch – pitted and peeled
- 3 tablespoons of coconut oil
- 1/4 cup of unsweetened coconut or almond milk (may require more if the texture of the pudding it too thick)
- 1/4 cup of organic cocoa powder
- 1 vanilla bean
- 2 teaspoons of honey, or quantity to your liking (optional)
- A pinch of Himalayan salt
Slice the avocados into cubes, and along with coconut oil, put them in a bowl. Mash them with a fork until smooth. Scrape the vanilla bean and add it to the bowl. Then, add the remaining ingredients and mix vigorously, until everything is blended and smooth. You can also use a food processor and pulse until creamy.
If all went well, the consistency should be similar to that of a pudding… except that the common pudding fills you with a lot of sugar!
This healthy chocolate avocado pudding will really help you burn fat and meet your needs for micronutrients, proteins, healthy fats, and fiber.
If the pudding is too thick, simply add a little more coconut or almond milk (whichever you prefer).
You can also enrich the taste by adding chopped pecans, Chia seeds, mint leaves, or crushed cashews on top of it.
Share freely this healthy and delicious recipe with your family and friends! You’ll amaze them for sure!
