Delicious Roasted Cauliflower With Butter

For this recipe you will need the following ingredients:

  • One cauliflower head
  • Two bay laurel leaves
  • Two vegetable Bouillon cubes
  • 2.5 ounces of melted butter
  • A little bit of ground pepper
  • Fresh chopped thyme leaves (optional)

Preparation:

Turn on the oven and preheat it to 200 degrease Celsius (400 Fahrenheit).  Then, cut off the stem of cauliflower and remove the leaves. Then, wash it and dry with napkins. Transfer the cauliflower to a baking tray. Next, dissolve the vegetable bouillon cubes into 4 cups of water and prepare vegetable broth as you normally do. Afterward, pour the broth on top of the cauliflower and add the laurel leaves and thyme. Put the pan on the stove, bring it to boil and cook it for about 12 minutes.

After that, transfer the cauliflower to a clean bowl with the vegetable broth in which it is cooked. Next, pour the softened butter over it, dust it with black pepper and put it in the oven.

Bake it in the oven for 10-25 minutes (the cooking times varies because of the cauliflower size. That’s why you should check it regularly for softness and color. ) You should serve the baked cauliflower with the butter sauce in which it previously baked.
