Excess hair on the body bothers almost everyone. There are various preparations for hair removal from the legs, face, and arms. In addition to being costly, they contain a number of substances that can adversely affect the health of the skin. They inevitably cause redness, irritation, and rash. Therefore, if you are solely interested in natural depilation and want to bypass all chemicals, this method is the right choice for you.
Lately, everyone is talking about Egyptian or sugar depilation, but we found something new for you, which is, we believe, worth trying out. It’s the flour depilation, with which you can remove hair from the whole body. But, it is recommended especially for those tiny hairs on your face.
We will guide you through the procedure.
Flour Depilation At Home
You can make a paste of turmeric powder, milk, and flour with which you can remove thin hair, but not stronger one (like on your legs). It is most often used against the tiny and thin hair on the face. Turmeric can eliminate the facial hair and slow down its growth. In addition, it softens and cleanses the skin. Mix 1 cup of chickpea flour also known as gram flour, half spoon turmeric powder and several drops of milk (don’t put too much because you should get a dense mixture). Apply it on your face where you want to remove the hair in the direction of their growth and let it dry for 20 to 25 minutes. After that, remove the flour mixture in the opposite direction of the hair growth with a damp towel. Remove the residue of the mixture with warm water. Finally, apply a moisturizer. During this type of depilation, you may feel mild irritation, but it lasts briefly. If you repeat the procedure regularly, you will significantly reduce hair on your chin and upper lip.
Another great method for facial hair removal is a mixture of lemon juice, chickpea flour, and water. You will need 10 ml of fresh lemon juice, 1 cup of water and 30 grams of chickpea flour. Mix all the ingredients well so there are no clumps, and apply it to your face. Leave the mixture on your face for 15 minutes to dry, and then remove it with a towel (stronger movements) in the direction of hair growth.
For the body hairs that are stronger and thicker, you can make a stronger depilatory mixture from egg white, corn flour, and sugar. What you need to do is: beat 1 egg white with 1 spoon of sugar, and then add half a spoon of corn flour to the mix. Stir the blend until you get a thick paste. Apply it to the skin in the direction of hair growth and let it dry. Then, peel it off the skin opposite to the direction of hair growth. In this way, you remove the hairs with the root, and the result will last longer.
