The Healing Prune-Coconut Bombs

This is one of those recipes when you need a quick dessert. Are the guests already in front of the door? Even then it’s not too late for these delicious bombs.

You will need the following ingredients:

  • One cup of chopped walnuts
  • One cup of chopped softer and pitted dried plums
  • A quarter cup of dry cranberries (or raisins)
  • One cup of coconut flakes
  • A quarter cup of cocoa powder


First, chop the dry plums and walnuts. Put all ingredients in a food processor or multipractic blender.  Then, blend the ingredients to get a mixture from which you can easily mold small balls. If the mixture is too dry, add some water – just enough so it’s easy to work with it.

Scoop a little bit of the mixture and shape the balls with your hands. Afterward, you need to roll them into cocoa powder and coconut flakes. Arrange them in a pan lined with baking sheet. In the end, store them in the fridge so they can harden a little bit. Serve them immediately.

Be careful and don’t eat too much of these prune bombs because they can cause a laxative effect. Two or three is the right amount for you to consume.
